Developer docs

Intelligence platform docs. Data you can use in minutes.

Company, jobs and skills data, delivered the way your team works: a daily spreadsheet, an alert when something changes, or a few lines of code.

Three ways in

Pick what suits your team. No developer needed for the first.

No code

Daily spreadsheet

A CSV in your inbox every morning at 06:00 GMT. Opens in Excel, Google Sheets or Power BI.

  • Best for analysts and finance teams
  • Cut to your watchlist

Low code

Alerts

A webhook fires the moment a company you watch files, crosses a threshold or changes directors.

  • Best for CRM and Slack workflows
  • Works with Zapier-style tools

Developers

REST API

Simple web requests that return clean JSON. One key covers company, jobs and skills data.

  • Best for apps and data platforms
  • Pick only the fields you need

Choose your data

Four products. One account.

Quickstart

Your first call, in three steps.

Every example below is real. Copy it, change the company number, and you're done.

  1. 1

    Get a key

    Ask us for an API key. It's a private password for your account, so keep it out of public code.

    Request an API key ›
  2. 2

    Ask for a company

    Send a web request with the company number. This one asks for Mayo Civil Engineering's introduction.

    curl "https://api.archive.partners/v1/marketintel/benchmark/companies/05509353?fields[]=introduction" \
      -H "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY"
  3. 3

    Read the answer

    You get back plain JSON: labelled values your spreadsheet, CRM or app can use straight away.

    {
      "company_id": "05509353",
      "company_name": "Mayo Civil Engineering Limited",
      "county": "Greater Manchester",
      "county_rank": 3,
      "turnover_millions": 83.37,
      "fields": {
        "introduction": "Mayo Civil Engineering Limited, operating out of Greater Manchester…"
      }
    }

Questions

New to APIs? Start here.

What is an API, in plain English?

It's a way for one computer system to ask another for data. Instead of downloading a file, your software sends a short web request and gets the answer back in a tidy, labelled format.

Do I need a developer?

Not for the daily spreadsheet. Alerts can be set up in common no-code tools. The REST API is easiest with a developer, but the examples here can be pasted as they are.

Where does the data come from?

Official UK company registers, the European Commission's ESCO classification, US government pay and training data, and licensed job-board partners. Every response says where its data came from.

Can I try it before I commit?

Yes. Tell us what you need and we'll send a sample cut to your watchlist, or a sandbox key to test against.

Ready when you are

Tell us what you're building. We'll set up a key and a sample to test against, usually within one business day.
